ROYALPURPOSELIFE

Well, hi there. I’m Royal. Welcome to the space where I share my life, my purpose, and my journey to finding my way back to myself!

It’s almost that time! 4 more days until we are out of here. The closer we get, I can feel my whole being falling into place. Denial gets further and further away, the nearer the 31st gets. I spent the whole time the boys were at school today, packing and dancing and feeling my spirit singing and dancing inside me. I didn’t realize I had so much stuff. I packed up a number of things and took them to Goodwill. I was trying to eliminate needing a storage unit, but that seems almost inevitable. Anyway, I hope I’m able to finish up packing all the things we will no longer need while we are here, tomorrow. So, ready to be done! So eager to start this new chapter and live with intention. Just me and my boys.

I am so happy to be where I am right now. I look back at where I came from and remember all the prayers I prayed asking to be where I am right now. All the tears I shed blaming myself for being where I was. All the questions I asked trying to figure out why I felt “stuck”.

Now, I look at myself in this moment and I am so proud of myself and so thankful and grateful for my Heavenly Father’s loving attentiveness and His discipline! So thankful for His listening ear and my many answered prayers. This has been a journey! One where I think I’ve learned and grew more over this time frame than I’ve ever grew at any point in my life. I feel so elevated as a person… like I’ve ascended! And I’m so ready for this!

Today was A. Day. I was so prepared to get started with all the packing and cleaning I need to get done with this move, buuut Nylan and Noah both woke up not feeling well this morning. I swear, if it’s not one thing it’s another! So, I had to put the packing on hold (which is what I actually had planned for today) and take care of my loves. After a few hours and some TheraFlu they both had enough energy so that I could at least go to the new place and do some disinfecting and cleaning. That was one of the things on my list, so I guess they didn’t throw a wrench completely into my plans. Plus, they did really well with keeping the noise level to a minimum. I was impressed!

I am so ready to be done with this move already. It is such a pain! Especially when you’re doing it all solo. Thankfully the end is near and soon I’ll be on the other side of it all! Ready to get this new journey/season started! YouTube content overload, lol

This morning I woke up with feelings of unsurety. Not that I’m doubting Yah’s hand in this move (trust me I have no doubts that this is him), but I guess in my not knowing why THIS move? My brain can think of a million other ways to achieve the changes I have been praying for, lol. But I am an imperfect human, so, my best bet is to trust Yah!

Yah, continue to calm my heart and my spirit. Continue to show me Your presence in the events surrounding my life. Help me to always lean on You in times of confusion, doubt, hurt, frustration. But also, to always praise You in those moments as well! You are GOD Eternal, The Almighty, Hearer of Prayer, Lover of good, and Rescuer of those who call on your name, Yahweh!

Well, good morning beautiful.

Today is the day I sign the lease to our new home! Momentum Blanding apartments. Leaving the place we’ve called home for 2 years is bittersweet. I find myself grieving what is lost while also feeling hopeful about what is ahead. Honestly, I can see the positive in the move. The boys have a pool, a game room, a pool, a pool, a pool, lol. That’s really all they care about!

Me, I’m looking forward to the journey as a whole. I can feel Yah’s hand in the events surrounding this move. I have been praying for so much to change, and at first, this move felt like it was in the opposite direction of the change I’d been praying for. But, after allowing Yah to calm my heart, I’ve come to realize that this move is EVERYTHING I’ve been praying for!
